Donetsk, Dec 11 – DAN. The Kirova mine owned by the state company Makeyevugol is to launch new coalface on December 12, its reserves estimated at 225 thousand tons, the Ministry of Coal and Energy said.
"State committee will endorse the launch of the 7th eastern coalface on the h10(c) floor; its reserves are estimated at 225 thousand tons of coal."
The stope length is 295 m, seam thickness up to one meter, estimated daily capacity up to 1,000 tons.
The Kirova mine is located in Sovetskiy district of Makeyevka and is operated by Makeyevugol state company. It was launched in 1955, and has shown 300,000 tons daily capacity. *ot
