Donetsk, Oct 5 – DAN. The DPR Representative office in Athens, Greece has organized an event to commemorate the late DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko, who was killed in a terror attack on August 31, 2018.
"The commemoration took place in the Athens Polytechnic, hundreds came to pay tribute to Alexander Zakharchenko," the DPR Foreign Ministry said.
The event was organized by the DPR Representative office headed by Andreas Zafeyris and 11 other political and public organizations. The participants spoke about Zakharchenko's personality, feats and work in capacity of the DPR Head.
The gathering hear an address of the DPR acting foreign minister Natalia Nikonorova being read out, and watched the video addresses of the DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin and the Trade Unions Federation presidium member Andrey Kochetov.
Alexander Zakharchenko was fatally wounded in an explosion in the Separ restaurant in the center of Donetsk on August 31, 2018.*ot
