Donetsk, Nov 4 – DAN. About four thousand people gathered on Donetsk central Lenina square to celebrate the second anniversary of DPR Head inauguration.
The representatives of cultural, educational, community institutions and Donetsk Republic social movement attended the event.
"Donetsk Republic activists initiated the meeting, four thousand came to congratulate DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko, to wish him all the best on the anniversary of his service," said the head of the movement's Central Executive Committee organization department olga Arutinova.
The festive event saw people from Kirovskoye, Debaltsevo, Novoazovsk, Khartsyzsk, Enakievo who sang patriotic songs at the opening ceremony, and congratulated to Zakharchenko from the stage.
The DPR Head elections took place on November 2, 2014, Zakharchenko winning overwhelming support. The inauguration ceremony was held two days later in Donetsk Music and Drama Theatre.
