Donetsk, Jun 8 — DAN. The DPR Supreme Court has held a third hearing in the case of foreign mercenaries who fought on the side of Ukrainian militants, the press service of the Armed Forces of the Republic following said as the third day of the trial concluded.

"The defendants were cross-examined, depositions were reviewed, oral arguments were heard on the third day of the trial," the statements said.

The first court session was held on Monday, June 6.

British subjects Sean Pinner and Aiden Aslin, as well as the subject of the kingdom of Morocco Saaudun Brahim are charged with committing a crime by a group of persons, violent seizure of power or violent retention of power,  mercenary and undergoing training in order to carry out terrorist activities.

The mercenaries are facing death penalty. The DPR has provided them with public defenders and interpreters. *ot
