Donetsk, May 10 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Acting Head Denis Pushilin has visited a filming location for the four-part movie “20/22” about Russia’s special military operation.

“The set, the sounds of explosions, the view of a checkpoint flying the DPR flag, the fighters' appearance are all true to life; the film will be life-like, ” Pushilin wrote on Telegram. “Seeing fully-equipped ‘Ukrainian servicemen’ was the hard part.”

“You understand that they are actors clad in costumes, but instinctively, you want to at least take them prisoner. We need patriotic movies of our own production, and its great that young talented guys are putting their skills to good use, ” he said.

The four-part film “20/22” is a story about Moscow students who found themselves in Donbass during the special military operation. According to the scenario, they have to go through trials and rethink their life values: love, courage, friendship and loyalty to one’s convictions.

The mini-series is being produced by BBG Production, supported by the Internet Development Institute and the Military and Patriotic Cinema Support Fund. The producer is Andrey Simonov. It stars Russia’s Merited Artist Alexey Shevchenko, young actors Aristarkh Venes (known for his roles in the Cadetship, Kremlin Cadets and Stone Jungle Law TV shows), Darya Kukarskikh and Vladimir Karpuk.  The film production began on March 23.*jk
