Donetsk, Apr 12 – DAN. The election to the DPR Youth Parliament kicked off today and will continue for a week, the Chairman of the Interim Election Committee Michael Frolov said.
"Fifty polling station opened at 9 a.m. in all the cities, except for Mospino, and all the regions. Polling station close at 6 p.m. Online voting is also available via the Youth Parliament website."
The election will conclude on April 18. DPR residents aged 16-35 are eligible to vote.
Almost 500 candidates compete in this election.
The first DPR Youth Parliament met on May 7, 2019.
The Youth Parliament is a permanent public deliberative body for interaction between the youth and legislative, executive and self-rule bodies in adopting and implementing the legal acts concerning the rights and legitimate interests of young people. *ot*pp
