Donetsk, Oct 17 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic on October 20 will open the first offices where Russian passport applicants can submit their documents, DPR interim Head Denis Pushilin said in a live stream on Telegram on Monday.
“The offices that will accept documents from Russian passport applicants will open in Donetsk (two offices), Khartsyzsk, Yenakievo and Mangush on October 20, ” Pushilin said.
He said that the Republic had stopped all DPR passport issue procedures and that the documents currently on hand remained valid.
The Republic has issued DPR passports since March 2016. The DPR passport was a must for obtaining fast track Russian citizenship which became available for DPR residents in the spring of 2019.*jk
