Donetsk, Feb 24 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Migration Service will launch more offices to speed up the issuance of passports, DPR Acting Head Denis Pushilin said at a meeting with servicemen. The video of the meeting was posted on his Telegram channel on Friday.
“The director of the Russian Interior Ministry’s Migration Service (Head of the Main Department for Migration Valentina Kazakova — eds Donetsk News Agency) visited the DPR; we had a conference where a decision was made to dramatically increase the number of Migration Service offices, ” Pushilin said in response to a serviceman’s question about long queues to apply for passport.
Migration Service offices will be set up across the Republic, he added.
Reports in early February said that 34 Migration Service offices in the DPR accepted documents for Russian citizenship application.” *jk
