Donetsk, Feb 24 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic is suspending the evacuation of its citizens to Russia, DPR Head Denis Pushilin told the 60 Minutes program on Russia-1 channel.
“As for evacuation of the population, it is being suspended,” Pushiln said.
A massive evacuation of DPR and LPR residents to Russia began on February 18 as the situation in Donbass deteriorated sharply. Over 93,000 Donbass residents have been evacuated to Russia since. More than half of the evacuees are children.*jk
