Donetsk, Apr 27 – DAN. There are currently no reasons to tighten anti-COVID restrictions, the DPR leader Denis Pushilin said.
"There are currently no reasons to close cities. We had to limit (access) to Novyi Svet as a strategic power station is located there. We had to decide on the tourist zone. Unfortunately, for some people the desire to go have a rest during the weekend prevailed over the infection risk. I dare say this is the maximum restriction we are introducing to limit the traffic between cities and territories," he said in a televised conference.
DPR authorities have limited traffic in Novyi Svet, where the Starobeshevo thermal power plant is located, due to the COVID-19 threat.
On March 14, the DPR went on high alert in connection with the threat of the coronavirus infection spread.
DRR has imposed a number of restriction on public events, restaurants and educational institutions. Individuals are subject to fines of 30-60 thousand rubles, while officials have to pay 40-80 thousand rubles if they violate the measures. Individual entrepreneurs risk 80-100 thousand rubles. The fine shall be doubled for second-time offenders. *ot
