Donetsk, Oct 29– DAN. DPR has registered 1,357 new cases of COVID-19 as the total number of confirmed cases climbed to 85,931, the Ministry of Health said.
The Ministry of Health reports that of 2,590 tests 1,296 returned positive on October 28, while 61 cases were diagnosed based on symptoms.
The Ministry reminded that vaccination saves from severe symptoms and prevents long-term complications and consequent need to place a patient in intensive care.
In the past 24 hours, 1,451 people were discharged from hospitals after testing negative twice; 93-virus-related deaths were reported.
The total of 64,151 patients recovered, while 15,156 are being treated; the total of 6,624 died. *ot
