Donetsk, Oct 14 – DAN. Seven hundred and eighty-eight new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.
“DPR medics carried out 1,647 tests on October 13; 705 people tested positive and another 83 showed COVID-56 symptoms,” the report said.
The number of new cases decreased by 217 from the previous reporting period when the DPR posted a record high daily covid rate in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.
Five hundred and forty-seven people have recovered since Wednesday, 788 continue treatment and 91 patients have died, the Ministry said.
The DPR has recorded 74,107 cases since the beginning of the pandemic; 57,022 people have recovered, 11,416 continue treatment, and 5,669 have died. *jk
