Donetsk, Jan 25 – DAN. Six hundred and forty-seven new COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Tuesday.
“DPR medics have carried out 2,608 tests; 626 people tested positive and another 21 showed COVID-19 symptoms, the report said. No tests were carried out at the weekend on January 22 and 23. On Friday, the DPR reported 285 new COVID-19 cases.
One hundred and twenty-one residents have been de-registered after recovery and six have died over the designated period.
The DPR has recorded 122,527 coronavirus infection cases since the beginning of the pandemic; 109,313 people have recovered, 3,729 continue treatment, and 9,485 have died. *jk
