Donetsk, Sep 24 – DAN. Five hundred and thirty-one new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Friday.
“A total of 1,223 tests have been carried out since Thursday; 458 people tested positive and another 73 showed COVID-19 symptoms,” the report said. Two hundred and forty-six residents have been de-registered after recovery and 23 have died over the designated period.
The DPR has recorded 64,562 COVID-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic; 50,817 people have recovered, 9,037 continue treatment, and 4,708 have died.
In the previous reporting period, 552 new coronavirus infection cases were diagnosed; 369 people recovered and 40 died. *jk
