Donetsk, Dec 4 - DAN. Medics of the Donetsk Regional Clinical Territorial Medical Association (DoKTMO) have provided assistance to more than 3,000 residents of Kiev-controlled areas of the Donetsk region under the aegis of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme since the beginning of this year, the Donetsk People’s Republic Health Care Ministry press service reported on Tuesday.
“DoKTMO specialists have provided quality medical assistance in various fields to more than 3,000 residents of Kiev-controlled areas of the Donetsk region under the aegis of the humanitarian programme this year,” the report said.
DoKTMO doctors perform surgery and assist in post procedure recovery and rehabilitation of in- and outpatients, the Health Care Ministry added.
The DPR has been implementing the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme since February 2017. The health care segment of the programme envisions medical assistance in 12 areas including cancer surgery, obstetrics, chemotherapy, gynaecological surgery, prosthetics and vaccination.*jk
