DPR paid almost 60 mln RUR of short-term disability insurance benefits

Donetsk, Aug 30 – DAN. DPR Social Insurance Fund has allocated 60 mln RUR ($1.23 mln) of short-term disability benefits to employees of coal mining enterprises since it started working, said the chairwoman of the fund Irina Parkhomenko.

"The Social Insurance Fund for temporal work incapacity and motherhood, since 2015 to August 1, 2017 has allotted 60.9 mln RUR to employees of coal mining enterprises," she said.

Of those, 85pc were allocated in connection with short-term disability, 15pc for maternity leave; and for burial.
DPR Social Insurance Fund was established in December 2014 and began operating in May 2015 after the unified social contribution payments were introduced in the Republic. *ot
