Donetsk, Apr 26 - DAN. DPR ombudswoman Darya Morozova and Head of the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Fiona Frazer met behind closed doors in Donetsk to discuss the return of documents to former prisoners-of-war, the ombudswoman's office reported on Thursday.
“DPR ombudswoman Darya Morozova and Chairwoman of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Fiona Frazer met in private on April 24 to discuss the return of documents to the persons released from Ukrainian captivity and their legal clearance,” the report said.
“The parties expressed mutual respect and willingness to continue fruitful cooperation,” according to the report.
Frazer thanked Morozova for the comments on the latest report by the office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights on the human rights situation in Ukraine and promised to take into account all the recommendations.*jk
