Donetsk, Dec 13 – DAN. Kiev is manipulating prisoner exchange lists, in order not list DPR supporters, the Republic’s ombudswoman Darya Morozova said on Tuesday.
“Ukraine repeatedly manipulates detainee lists, refusing to confirm our (exchange – eds DAN) lists. I addressed Ukrainian representatives in humanitarian subgroup and the international community,” Morozova said. “Hopefully, UN and ICRC representatives will respond promptly and take appropriate measures.”
The ombudswoman reiterated that the problem can only be solved by Kiev’s passing an amnesty law in line with the Minsk agreements.
On Monday, Morozova said officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) had been pressing DPR detainees into signing requests to take their names off exchange lists. *jk
