Khartsyzsk - Sep 27 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic authorities have no plans to raise the retirement age in the foreseeable future, acting DPR Head Denis Pushilin said at a meeting with the Silur Steel Wire and Cable Plant workers on Thursday.

“At this point, this issue (raising the retirement age - eds Donetsk News Agency) will not be considered, even in the foreseeable future,” Pushilin said.

The DPR retirement age is 55 for women and 60 for men.

Earlier reports said that the acting DPR Head visited Khartsyzsk on Thursday to meet with town administration officials and tour large local companies.*jk
