Donetsk, June 1 – DAN. DPR Head Denis Pushilin has congratulated all young residents of the Republic on the Children's Day and thanked all those who care about children.
"I express the words of gratitude to those who care about the destiny of a new generation. Those who spare no effort to raise our children, help them develop and aim high. Our focus is on those children who live in frontline zones, evacuated from dangerous zones, orphans and children with health issues. Protecting their right is our priority," he said in his speech.
Children's Day is a date celebrated annually in honor of children. In 1925, International Children's Day was first proclaimed in Geneva during the World Conference on Child Welfare.*ot
