Donetsk, Jan 16 – DAN. DPR ombudswoman Daria Morozova representing DPR in Mins talks insisted that humanitarian subgroup of the Contact Group should hold video conference with participation of Ukraine's Viktor Medvedchuk on January 18.
"Unfortunately, today's meeting in Minsk brought no results we hoped for. The lack of fruitful dialog and unethical behavior of Ukraine's representative show that our opponents are not willing to fulfil assumed obligations. Probably, Kiev rep's position was influenced by the absence of Mr. Viktor Medvedchuk.
We have voiced five times our intention to exchange all identified persons but no definite answer followed.
That is why we suggested we should have a video conference, with the participation of Medvedchuk, on January 18, to focus on POW swap on the day of Epiphany feast.Mr. Kuchma supported our proposal. We hope we reach understanding and our citizens shall celebrate the great Orthodox feast at home with the families," Morozova said commenting today's Contact Group meeting. *ot
