Donetsk, Jul 2 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin has amended a number of welfare acts raising social payments for certain groups of the Republic’s residents staring July 1, 2019.
“Decree No 162 on DPR allowances, dated April 29, 2015 is amended with the view of increasing the social protection of DPR residents and regulating welfare payments,” according to Pushilin’s Decree No 203 published on the head of state website on Tuesday.
The Republic’s Labour and Social Policy Ministry told the Donetsk News Agency that the authorities had increased single parent child allowances from 1,000 to 1,500 rubles, large family allowances from 1,000 to 1,800 rubles, allowances for Subgroup A disabled children up to six years old from 4,906 to 5,500 rubles, allowances for Group III lifelong disabled persons from 2,100 to 2,994 rubles, and allowances for mental disorder Disability Groups I and II from 2,436 to 3,706 rubles.
Budget allocations for implementing the decree amount to more than 66 million rubles, the DPR Labour and Social Policy Ministry said.
Earlier reports on Tuesday said that the DPR Head had signed a decree raising pensions and public employee wages.*jk
