Donetsk, Mar 10 – DAN. Ukrainian side has been silent on the humanitarian program of assistance to residents of Kiev-controlled territories, launched by DPR and LPR, said DPR envoy to Minsk Denis Pushilin.

"The humanitarian program was presented (in Minsk), it came as a surprise to us that Ukraine allowed everyone to listen the full presentation. No answer followed from Kiev and we expect it to be negative."

DPR shall pursue the implementation of the program especially in what comes to ecological safety, said Pushilin.

"We came up with initiative and we hope to get the OSCE support. We need their assistance in monitoring hazardous enterprises on the contact line."

Earlier DPR ombudswoman Daria Morozova said humanitarian subgroup coordinator Toni Frisch had approved the program.

On March 1 in Minsk DPR and LPR showcased the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial and aid assistance and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched. *ot
