Donetsk, Oct 4 - DAN. Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin has offered his best wishes to the Republic’s rescuers on the occasion of Civil Defence Day.
“You’ve carried out tremendous painstaking work to create a modern and highly effective civil defence system and form a large and well-knit standby team of rescuers,” Pushilin said in a statement received by the Donetsk News Agency.
He underscored the importance of rescuers’ work in ensuring national security and the safety of residents. “Your courage, dedication and top professionalism enables you to fulfil important tasks in preventing and eliminating the aftermath of emergencies and save the life and health of DPR residents,” Pushilin said.
The DPR marks Civil Defence Day on October 4, in accordance with the Head of the Republic’s decree of March 15, 2016.*jk
