Donetsk, Mar 30 - DAN. Donetsk Central Republican Bank plans to double the number of ATMs across the republic this year, the regulator told Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“This year, Central Republican Bank plans to double the number of ATMs by approximately two-fold,” it said.
The Bank currently operates 103 ATMs, 258 offices and 860 POS terminals.
DPR’s Central Republican Bank launched the first ATMs in the Republic’s capital in August 2015. The Bank was set up in late 2014.
The Bank’s functions include registration of financial organisations, licensing and control on the securities market and setting currency exchanges rates. It also handles pensions and welfare payments, transfers and other financial operations.
As of today, DPR operates 257 cash settlement centres with currency exchange offices. *jk
