Donetsk, Sep 29 — DAN. Promsvyazbank will expand its network of branches in the new Russian regions to 470 by the end of this year, the Bank’s press service said on Friday.

“Understanding the demand for affordable and modern banking services, PSB is actively developing the financial infrastructure in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republic and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, ” the press service quoted PSB Deputy Chairman Mikhail Dorofeyev as saying. “Many offices have been launched in close proximity to the contact line.”

 The bank’s immediate priority is to reach the level of Crimea by 2025 in terms of banking infrastructure development. “It has already met the targets for the DPR, and will attain the objective in the other regions in the first quarter of 2024, ” Dorofeyev said.

Earlier reports said that PSB was extending the first online loans to entrepreneurs in the new Russian regions at a preferential rate that did not exceed 10 percent.*jk
