DPR academic year in schools extended until July 1

Donetsk, Apr 20 - DAN. DPR has extended the academic year in schools until Juky 1, the First Deputy Minister of Education Lyubov Volkova said.

"Studies will continue until July 1, unless otherwise indicated. I hope scholl children will be able to cover the academic programme by that time," she said.

Earlier this week, the first school in Mariupol resumed its work. It currently provides education to 600 children, and employs 40 teachers. 

Normally, school year finishes in late May. *ot
