Donetsk, May 12 – DAN. The Donbass-Russia Integration Committee, aimed at boosting integration and promoting ties between Russian and Donbass Republics, met today in Donetsk and decided to focus on particular actions.

Over 300 political experts and activists discussed possible ways of reconstructing economic, social and cultural ties between Russia and war-torn regions.

A dozen countries sent their journalists to cover the event, including DPR, LPR, Russia, South Ossetia, Italy and France.

"We shift to particular actions. We want to conquer the heights we have been dreaming of – to come back to our Motherland," said DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko.
Starting the process, Kievskiy district of Donetsk city has signed a twin-town agreement with Sudak in Crimea. The document was signed by Kievskiy district head Valentin Levchenko and Sudak administration head Vladimir Serov.

The Integration Committee Russia-Donbass was established in Crimea on March 17 to reinforce the integration that is happening between Donbass and Russia at cultural, humanitarian, social levels. Its meeting took place in Livadia Palace, near Yalta, DPR and LPR leaders were present at the event.

The Committee is expected to hold several meetings in 2017, both in Donbass and Russia. *ot
