Donetsk, Aug 15 — DAN. A youth council for developing and supporting initiatives in the field of science and innovations will be established in the Donetsk People’s Republic this autumn, DPR Science and Technology Committee chairman Oleg Demchenko told the Donetsk News Agency.
“It will operate under the aegis of the Science and Technology Committee, ” Demchenko said. “We’ve drawn a draft provision on the Council jointly with the Youth Parliament, and plan to launch it in September and involve active young people in the implementation of projects and initiatives.”
He noted a shortage of young specialists at DPR research centers.
Earlier reports said that DPR inventors had requested the Federal Service for Intellectual Property to give out 14 patents for their know-know since last year.*jk
