Donetsk, Sep 7 — DAN. The new Russian regions will receive more than 35,000 computers with pre-installed software by yearend to equip workplaces at government and welfare bodies and schools, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Maksut Shadayev said on Thursday.
“We have to supply more than 35,000 computers to welfare bodies, regional and municipal administrations, schools and other facilities by the end of this year, ” Shadayev said at a “United Russia” party conference over the new territories.
Some 13,700 computers will be supplied to the Donetsk People’s Republic, according to Shadayev’s presentation.
The minister earlier said that more than 7,500 facilities in the new regions would be connected to fiber Internet by March 1, 2024.*jk
