Donetsk, Apr 21 – DAN. About 31 thousand veterans living in DPR-controlled territory received one-time Victory Day payments, said the Ministry of Labour and Social Politics.
"As of morning April 21, 2017, 30,694 payments have been made, totaling 59 mln RUR."
State company Donbass Post paid 43.5 mln RUR to 25,570 people thereof, while 15.5 mln RUR were paid to 5,124 recipients by Central Republican Bank.
Financial aid is provided to veterans from April 5, under DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko's decree on providing one-time payments to veterans to commemorate the Victory Day. War disabled veterans and equal-status persons, their families, participants of military actions, concentration camps prisoners, POWs in 1941-1945 are eligible. *ot
