Donetsk, Aug 8 – DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry rescuers the last person who remained in the collapsed coalface of the Volynskaya coal, the Ministry’s press service reported.
A roof collapsed at a coalface of the Volynskoye Mine Directorate of the Torezantratsit state mining company on August 6; 16 miners were underground at the time of the accident, 12 of them reached the surface unassisted.
"Yesterday at 7.40 p.m. the fourth miner was located and brought to the surface at 8.15 p.m. He has not been hurt and there was no need to hospitalize him."
The rescue team cut through 49 meters of the coalface. The two-day rescue operation comprised 39 personnel, eight pieces of equipment and three phycologists.*ot
