Donetsk, Dec 2 - DAN. A new batch of the Russian Sputnik Light vaccine has been delivered to all 65 vaccination centres accross the Donetsk People’s Republic, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.

A Russian humanitarian aid convoy delivered 290,000 doses of the vaccine on November 25. Vaccination is available to residents over 18 years of age without contraindications. It is scheduled by a medical centre’s records department.

“Sputnik Light is used in primary vaccination, revaccination and also for immunization of citizens who had recovered from COVID-19,” the DPR Healthcare Ministry said.

The DPR launched vaccination with Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine on February 1. Sputnik Light has been available to DPR residents since July 30.*jk
