Donetsk, Oct 4 - DAN. Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin took part in a blood donation action organised by Maxim Gorky Donetsk National Medical University students and the Young Republic social organisation.
The action took place at the Republican Blood Centre which is open to donors throughout Thursday. Some 100 medical students are expected to join the action.
“I want to thank the organisers and the participants because these simple yet important actions support our Republic,” Pushilin said. “Unfortunately, the Republic continues to need blood transfusions due to the Ukrainian agression which manifests itself in shelling of our towns and our civilian and military casualties.”
He expressed the hope that such actions would continue and promised to personally support them.
