Donetsk, Apr 24 — DAN. More than 400 refugees from Artyomovsk, Soledar and their outskirts have applied for social benefits and pensions in the Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR government deputy chairperson Larsia Tolstykina said.
“Three hundred and eighty people from Soledar, Artyomovsk and neighboring settlements have requested Labor and Social Protection Departments of DPR municipal areas to grant allowances and financial aid, ” Tolstykina told the Donetsk News Agency adding that 41 people had applied for retirement benefits.
Evacuation from Artyomovsk to safer Donbass areas began on February 20. Prior to that, the authorities evacuated the population of the suburban settlements liberated from Ukrainian forces.*jk
