Donetsk, May 11 — DAN. More than 3,000 residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic have gone on incentive tours of Russia under the More Than Travel program, the press service of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.

“As of now, more than 3,000 DPR residents including participants of our contests and projects have taken part in the More Than Travel incentive tourism program, ” a press service representative said. “Young tourists have visited scenic parts of Russia such as Volgograd, Voronezh, Novosibirsk and Rostov Regions, Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, Republic of Crimea and Russia’s capital city.

All the tours are free of charge, she added.

“More Than Travel” is a program of incentive trips for active participants, finalists, and winners of contests and projects under the aegis of the presidential platform “Russia — Land of Opportunity” and the “Knowledge” Society. The Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the Education Ministry helped to develop the program. More than 70,000 people from all over Russia have enjoyed incentive trips since the start of the program in 2021. Invited participants can choose among package tours.*jk
