Donetsk, Nov 30 - DAN. Some 14,000 residents of Kiev-controlled part of Donetsk region have received assistance under the aegis of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme since it was launched in DPR, the Republic’s acting Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova told Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“As of 30 November 2017, some 14,000 residents of Kiev-controlled part of Donetsk region have availed themselves of the Donbass people reunifcation humanitarian programme,” Nikonorova said.
DPR Health Care Ministry, Culture Ministry, Sports Ministry, Social Policy Ministry and Education and Science Ministry are responsible for different tracks of the humanitarian programme. United Donbass Foundation, Donbass Post and welfare centres are among the contributors.
The Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme was approved on 17 February 2017. It provides for medical and financial assistance, quotas for higher and vocational education, sport events and measures to preserve spiritual and cultural values in which residents of Kiev-held territories are welcome to take part. *jk
