Donetsk, Sep 1 - DAN. DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko has attended today the Donbass Agricultural Academy in Makeyevka opening ceremony, joined by deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers Dmitriy Trapeznikov, the minister of education and science Larisa Polyakova and acting mayor Valeriy Lyakhovets, the academy staff, students and their parents.
According to an old Russian tradition, students served special karavai bread to Zakharchenko, who then cut the red ribbon at the academy entrance.
"You have entered one of the best DPR universities, your profession is very needed," said DPR leader addressing the students.
Agronomy, forestry and landscape, veterinary medicine, animal-breeding technologies and more are taught in the academy. Today 319 students began their studies. *ot
