Donetsk, Sep 28 — DAN. Makeyevka school leavers can enroll at Sverdlovsk region universities without taking the Unified State Exam, said Denis Lyakishev, an aide to a Sverdlovsk region deputy governor.
Lyakishev visited a school in Makeyevka and talked with its pupils, said local administration officials. “Sverdlovsk region universities will admit you without the Unified State Exam by the results of the interview, ” the Town Hall quoted him as saying. “You can return to your native town after completing your studies, if you wish.”
He recommended the prospective students to choose technical professions which are in high demand today.
Russia’s Sverdlovsk region is the sponsor region for Makeyevka providing assistance to the town in rebuilding its infrastructure.*jk
