Donetsk, Jun 13 — DAN. The Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU) will get dozens of million rubles to fund its research projects, said University Rector Alexander Anopriyenko.
“We’ve got dozens of million rubles in central funding for the first time in long years which we haven’t seen since Soviet times, ” Anopriyenko said. “We’re beginning to receive regular allocations for research.”
The money will be used for energy efficiency and new materials research, he added.
Earlier, the DonNTU rector told DAN that the university would attract hundreds of million rubles to establish and develop an engineering center for energy efficiency.*jk
