Donetsk, Sep 28 - DAN. Two Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, best known as Vovan and Lexus, will present their book “Vovan and Lexus. For Whom the Telephone Rings” in the DPR capital on 2 October, presentation organiser Svetlana Melnikova told Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“Well-known Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus will make a one-day visit to Donetsk on 2 October to personally present their book “Vovan and Lexus. For Whom the Telephone Rings,” Melnikova said.
“I have long cooperated with the St Petersburg-based “Piter” Publishing House; they asked me to arrange a presentation here,” Melnikova said. "I believe many will find the book interesting.”
The presentation will take place at Booklet, a shop at the Donetsk City shopping mall, at 5:00 p.m., she added.
Alexey Stolyarov and Vladimir Kuznetsov came into the limelight after pulling off prank phone calls on well-known politicians, public figures and business people including Ukrainian President Petr Poroshenko, U.S. Senator John McCain, musician Elton John, Ukrainian business tycoon Igor Kolomoisky and Kiev mayor Vitali Klitschko.
The book contains transcripts of their phone calls and prank call tips on arranging a phone call, choosing the conversation topic, etc. *jk
