Donetsk, Oct 16 — DAN. The Russian government will provide grants to small and medium businesses which are implementing socially significant projects in the new regions, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Monday.
“Education and medical centers, hotels, and social services, culture and sport organizations are eligible for grants worth up to 300,000 rubles, ” Mishustin said at a Cabinet session.
Payments will be made on co-financing terms; the share of the grant recipients’ own money in the sum must amount to at least 5 percent, he said.
The grants can be used for leasing or repairing non-residential premises and purchasing equipment for citizens with reduced mobility and raws and consumables for production needs.
Earlier reports said that more than 57 billion rubles might be allocated for the procurement of assistive devices in 2024.*jk
