Donetsk, Nov 13 — DAN. Twelve outdoor sport and recreation centers will be built in the Donetsk People’s Republic by the end of 2025, the Russian Ministry of Sport told the Donetsk News Agency on Monday.
“Four outdoor sport centers are already under construction; the Republic will have 12 such facilities by by the end of 2025, ” the Ministry said adding that the project aims to involve citizens of all ages in sport and physical activity.
An outdoor sport center includes a synthetic turf football pitch, a basketball court and an equipped workout zone. Its area must exceed 3,500 square meters.
Earlier reports said that more than 50 sport centers would be rebuilt in the Donetsk People’s Republic by 2026.*jk
