Donetsk, Dec15 – DAN. DPR Head Aleksandr Zakharchenko confirmed that he and his LPR counterpart Igor Plotnitskiy met with Ukrainian parliament deputy Nadezhda Savchenko in Minsk over Minsk Agreements issues.
“The meeting has indeed taken place. We discussed Minsk agreements implementation and all-for-all prisoner exchange,” Zakharchenko told a news conference.
“We offered our POW exchange options, and I’m glad that not only Ukrainian reps in the Contact Group but also Verkhovnaya Rada (parliament) deputies wish to complete this process,” he said adding that “no accords have been reached” however.
All-for-all prisoner exchange is a key article of the Minsk Agreements topping the recent agenda the Contact Group humanitarian subgroup. No breakthroughs have been made however. *jk
