Donetsk, Jun 15 — DAN. The new Russian regions will prioritize security and control at the elections on Single Voting Day (September 10), experts told the Donetsk News Agency.
“We have voting options, but security and public control have priority, ” Independent Public Monitoring Association (NOM) chairman, member of the presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights Alexander Brodd told the four agencies from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
Russia has an array of election procedures which were tested in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics during the pandemic “I was in the LPR last year; it was shelled more than 60 times during the election days; in some areas, voting had to move into shelters, ” he said.
The Ukrainian regime will make all efforts to thwart the election, so the safest option is to vote in house yards or online, Russian Public Chamber coordination council chairman Maxim Grigoryev told reporters of the four agencies.*jk
