Donetsk, Aug 4 — DAN. Acting Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin has been nominated for the DPR’s top post following decision by “the United Russia” (ER) political party General Council, an official said on Friday.
“The United Russia has nominated the candidates for the top posts of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, ” ER General Council Secretary, First Deputy Head of the Federation Council upper house of the Russian parliament Andrey Turchak said on Telegram. “The decision has been made and it will be forwarded to the president.”
“Pushilin who has headed the Republic for the recent years has proven with his deeds that he’s a worthy regional leader, ” he said. *jk
