Donetsk, Oct 18 - DAN. The development of small and medium businesses in the Donetsk People’s Republic is given a priority, acting DPR Head Denis Pushilin said in an interview to the Donetsk News Agency.
“I very much count on small and medium businesses. In fact, it’s a token of our economic development,” Pushilin said. “People are now trying to survive working at break-even or at a loss, but won’t shut down their business awaiting better times. Our task is to make these better times come as quickly as possible.”
“To achieve this objective it is necessary to ease the administrative burden on companies and minimise the red tape, if not eliminate it,” Pushilin said adding that essentially, it was necessary to guarantee business transparency and lack of government pressure.
On October 16, acting DPR Head Denis Pushilin met with business people to discuss a range of issues such as a plan of 2019 exports. Earlier, entrepreneurs had asked Pushilin to set up a commission on quotas to settle export problems.*jk
