Donetsk, Nov 16 – DAN. Denis Pushilin's parliament member mandate has been terminated after he won the Head election, the Donetsk Republic social movement announced, of which the newly elected Head is a member.

DPR Constitution bans the Republic leader from membership in any of the parliamentary groups.

"Denis Pushilin has filed appropriate application and his membership with the parliament has been terminated," the press statement reads.

The DPR Head and Parliamentary Elections took place on November 11. The Donetsk Republic social movement has secured 74 seats, while its rival Free Donbass received 26. The first session of the new convention is scheduled for November 19. Denis Pushilin has won 60.85 percent of votes cast. *ot
