Donetsk, Sep 12 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin has recorded a video address in central Donetsk urging the population not to trust the misinformation disseminated by Ukraine.
“We saw lots of information attacks yesterday: that the enemy has entered the airport, but ‘Sparta’ easily disproved it, ” Pushilin said in the video posted on his Telegram channel. “They also tried to ‘dismiss’ me and ‘send’ to Russia; of course its utter nonsense.”
“It’s not that Donetsk will hold out, we must win and we will, ” the head of state said as he was speaking on Donetsk’s Lenin Square.
Pushilin said that the enemy was disseminating false rumors very actively to cause panic in the Republic. In this connection he urged residents to check the stories and be guided by official information forces. He also promised to go live as often as possible.
The DPR leader commented the situation in different sectors of the front noting the failed Ukrainian counteroffensive in the Peski area. He said in the Krasny Liman area, the coalition forces had succeeded in stopping the enemy, on the Ugledar axis, the Republic’s defenders are gradually advancing and that in the Krasnoarmeisk area, the enemy plans to deploy additional military equipment had been foiled.
“We walk on towards Artyomovsk, and have already got our teeth into Artyomovsk outskirts. ‘I believe the situation will develop according to our plan, our scenario there; the guys are great, the coalition forces are at work, ’ the DPR Head said.*jk
