Donetsk, Sep 28 - DAN. Denis Pushilin has served slightly over three weeks as acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic yet he’s already shown his interest in resolving residents’ problems, head of the Young Republic social movement’s Sport Division Vladimir Taranenko told the Donetsk News Agency on Friday.
“Denis Pushilin has been in office for less than a month, yet he’s already done much for the Republic. Pushilin stepped up the Council of Minister’s work, his interaction with local administrations, problem solution and outreach to every resident,” Taranenko said.
This productive approach to his duties at the post of acting DPR Head surely wins over voters ahead of the November election in the Republic.
“For us, youths, the acting DPR Head’s genuine interest and efforts to resolve the population’s problems sets an example of true selfless work for the good of the state and our future,” the activist said.
After the tragic death of DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko, the DPR parliament set November 11 as the date of the parliamentary and Head of Republic election, and appointed the Central Election Commission. Pushilin later met the CEC requirements for candidate registration documents and voter signature lists.*jk
